About SmartPlan Investing
We are an investor coaching company.
We are SmartPlan Investing, a multi-generational registered investment adviser and coaching company founded in 1968 by Gene Hall. We are the Premier investor Coaching Firm of South Florida and the greater Atlanta area - with offices in Jupiter, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia.
From Our President
“Our company was born out of a struggle to find a solution for our clients and myself in an industry that was not serving the interest of investors, but rather themselves.
Nearly twenty years ago we were fortunate enough to be introduced to a concept that would forever change our lives and the lives of our clients. That concept focused on putting the investors' need, dreams, and purpose front and center.”
Backed by Nobel Prize Winning Research
Investors are empowered to identify what speculation and gambling looks like, so that they can avoid these common investing pitfalls leading them to experience peace of mind around their life savings.
Our approach is backed by empirically tested academic investing principles and proven success with real clients. We believe knowledge is power, and our companies primary focus is to help all investors understand what they are doing with their money and why it’s being done this way.
We do these in group coaching sessions that can be as much gut wrenching as they can be fun and inspiring.
We coach investors to recognize common investing pitfalls that can steal their dreams while equiping them to live a purpose-powered life.

Jennifer Foster is a Wealth Coach with SmartPlan Investing and has been with the company since 2003. While she is recognized for her work with women, she and her team’s focus is to empower the entire family. However, she realizes that many women think of investing as a man’s responsibility. They often think investing is too hard and confusing for them to navigate. She is out to change that perception because she believes this a destructive mindset. Furthermore, she believes it is vital for women to grasp the basics of investing. Also, it’s important to be a part of these very important decisions for their own financial confidence and peace of mind.
Jennifer works with successful businesswomen; as well as, stay at home moms and women at any stage of their life. No matter your economic status Jennifer and her team will treat you as their most important client. Jennifer and her team provide investment solutions and provide coaching. They believe it’s not enough to give you a great portfolio, but for you to understand what you are doing and why. No more being in the dark and just hoping things work out.
Growing up Jennifer did not have plans to work in the financial services industry; in fact, it is the last industry she would have considered. In fact, she planned to go into cosmetology. Clearly, the Lord had other plans. She began working for SmartPlan Investing’s sister company Wiley CPA in 2003. She was hired to do administrative work, but moved up quickly in the company and benefited from on the job training. Shortly after being hired the President of the company, Roy Wiley began to provide investment solutions to his tax clients after walking away from investments years before over frustrations with the industry. This provided another opportunity for training for Jennifer and where her passion for investors and women investors especially blossomed.
Being a single mom with no outside financial support Jennifer struggled financially for many years. Like many American’s budgeting and saving was not taught in the home growing up and she witnessed a lot of destructive money behaviors. However, she worked hard and grew within the company and ran the Accounting and Investing firm for many years. Suddenly, Jennifer’s life was profoundly changed when she discovered her own true purpose for her money. This changed everything how she chose to spend, save, give and invest- yes, invest. After years of trying to follow a budget, even doing the envelope method she finally found a way to follow a budget. This was the example she wanted to stand for, for her young daughter. She then began aligning her spending and investing with her newly discovered purpose. Her purpose also led her to sit for the rigorous Series 65 Investment Adviser Representative exam, so that she could coach others in discovering their purpose. In addition, she wanted to show her daughter that through perseverance any goal you set is possible.
Jennifer is a compassionate coach. However, she is unwavering in her beliefs, which serves her clients well when they need someone to stand firm and keep them on track during difficult times. Jennifer has extensive knowledge in the Nobel Prize- winning investing academics that make up the Matson Money investing method. She is able to relay complex theories in a fun and relatable way so that investors understand how their portfolio is designed to work and last for their lifetime and beyond. She has dedicated her life to helping women and their families live their life with purpose while investing to secure their financial future. She believes with the proper planning you really can create a life and future worth living in to.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her daughter, serve her church, and host parties.
Keith Stacy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Florida Atlantic University’s Honors College. Shortly after graduation, he began his career with SmartPlan in 2019 where he performed several different clerical and customer service duties while training to become a SmartPlan Investing Coach in 2020 after passing the Investment Advisor Representative exam.
In college, he was exposed to the world of investing in both a professional and academic capacity. Unfortunately, this exposure led him to discover what he believed was that the investment industry was largely founded upon guesswork and speculation rather than proven-academic results. Thus, his desire to pursue investing professionally was halted.
However, Keith is delighted to be part of a team which he believes is set apart from the rest of the industry and truly cares for the investors, their families, and their dreams. Keith is proud of SmartPlan’s adherence to Nobel Prize- winning academic principles, and he enjoys the privilege of coming alongside investors and empowering them to have an opportunity to achieve peace of mind around investing
